spam policy

Leapfrog Internet Anti-Spam Policy

The use of your account to send out any bulk and/or unsolicited e-mail, commercial or otherwise (spamming), is strictly prohibited. Bulk email (spamming) is defined as identical or similar e-mail messages sent to 15 or more recipients where such e-mail has not been specifically requested by the recipient. Any violation of this policy will result in the immediate termination of your account at the sole discretion of Leapfrog Internet. Each user is responsible for all activity associated with their account; claiming that someone else used your account credentials to send spam will not mitigate your responsibility or liability.

If you violate our Anti-Spam Policy, you will be assessed the following fines and penalties for illegally using our mail servers for your email activity:

Upon FIRST offense: $500.00 and termination of account, including all fees paid in advance for service will be retained.

We WILL pursue a judgment against you, and we WILL collect for the total amount! We thank you for your cooperation regarding our anti-spam policy, as spam is a nuisance to our community and deteriorates the performance for our customers.

If you think our policy is tough, good. There are precedents where ISPs have been awarded multi-million dollar judgements from spammers. Please check out the following links for more insight into what other ISPs are doing to combat spam:
