ISDN service is a reliable, high-speed way to access the Internet. It requires a separate digital telephone line to be installed by your local phone company, and can provide a connection at 64k for a single channel ISDN circuit, or 128 kbps for a dual-channel circuit.

It is an excellent value for people who work out of their homes who cannot get DSL or other broadband services, need faster speeds and better reliability than a 56K dialup connection. More about ISDN Since an ISDN line accommodates both VOICE and DATA, it might be cost-effective for you to use them as phone lines AND for Internet access for slightly more than it would cost for multiple analog telephone lines!

At Leapfrog Internet, we understand that network reliability is critical for your business productivity. That is why our ISDN service comes with Priority Technical Support*. This means that our technical support team will respond immediately to all ISDN service interruptions, and, whenever applicable, will supply a temporary account for your usage whenever the primary ISDN account is interrupted for more than two hours.

* Priority Technical Support- our ability to provision a temporary account will depend entirely on the nature of the outage. For example, if Leapfrog is experiencing authentication issues and a temporary account will allow our customers to access the network, we will provision the temporary account at our expense. However, if as an example there is a fiber cut and provisioning a second account will not allow our customers to access the network, we will not provision the temporary account. We will use our sole discretion to determine whether or not to provision a temporary account.

**Number of hours is listed as channel hours. 128K ISDN utilizes two channels of 64K each for maximum throughput of 128K. For example, if you are using both channels at 128K for sixty minutes, that would be consider two channel hours (one hour on each 64K channel). To maximize usage, you can set your modem for shorter timeout settings (it will disconnect after a few minutes of inactivity then reconnect seamlessly when needed) and/or you can use a 'dynamic bandwidth allocation' setting which uses one channel by default, then 'kicks on' the second channel only when needed. Both of these settings will help maximize your usage and minimize your cost.

Billing Options

Leapfrog Internet accepts payments via automatic check or savings withdrawal, VISA, Mastercard, Discover, PayPal, AMEX or by invoice. Users who choose to make payments via check will incur a $3.00 per month handling fee on each invoice. The paper bill fee does not apply to users who prepay for services in advance quarterly, semi-annual or annual. Any residential account setup by a customer that wishes to pay by check must send in pre-payment for three months of service or greater prior to the first month's service to begin using Leapfrog services. Any user who wishes to pay by automatic check or savings withdrawal must fill out the ACH Form and send it in for approval prior to service commencement.

Note: There will be a NSF charge of $35.00 for all checks or automatic withdrawals from bank accounts that are returned for non-sufficient funds. Also, Leapfrog reserves the right to charge a $1.00 fee for each time a credit/debit card presented for payment is declined by the cardholder's issuing bank.
