at support@leapmail.net with
your questions.
What you
need to get started:

with Leapfrog Internet
2. Your username
3. Your password
4. Your Local Access number
Please print
the instructions for easy follow-along and for future reference.
Configuring
Network Settings
In
the Apple menu, select 'Location' and 'Network Preferences'.

On the Network
Panel, click on the 'Configure' drop-down menu and choose 'Internal Modem'
(unless you are using a computer with an external modem). Now click on
the 'TCP/IP' tab, and select 'Using PPP' in the drop-down menu. Make sure
the boxes are empty and click on the 'PPP' tab.

On the 'PPP' tab, enter 'Leapfrog Internet' into the 'Service Provider'
field. In the next field, put the number that your computer will be dialing
to access the Internet. If there is a secondary access number in your
area, please feel free to enter that number as well (optional).
**Please note it is the customer's responsibility to find the correct
access number that is a local call.**
In the next field, type in your login name with an lfi (short for leapfrog
internet) at the beginning (for example: if your login name is
john, enter lfijohn). At the end of your user name, enter the appropriate
network extension from one of the tables below. Your network code was
either sent to you in a welcome email if you signed up over the phone
or was on the confirmation page if you signed up online:

ID- 128K ISDN |

An example user name might look like this: lfijohn@vdialup.net
or jane@leapmail.net
**Note this username masking is necessary for network authentication
purposes. If you are unsure which ending to use, please contact us at
support@leapmail.net**
After
your complete login name has been entered, type your password in the bottom
field and make sure the 'Save password' box is checked.
Now click on the 'PPP Options' button.

Now
make sure you check the boxes exactly as shown below, then hit 'OK'.

Now click
on the 'Proxies' tab. These settings should be left as shown unless you
are an advanced user and know exactly what you're doing.

Now
click on the 'Modem' tab and select your modem from the 'Modem' drop-down
list. If you are using a machine with a built-in modem, your default will
probably be 'Apple Internal 56K Modem (v.90)'. Leave the other settings
as shown and hit 'Save'. Your settings are now complete and you are ready
to surf the Internet!
